This swing worked great, i had no problem with it. I had no problems with it being sturdy and it was pretty easy to fold up and transport to another room if i needed to.

We registered for this swing before it went on clearance. I like the pattern and overall design of the swing. My son was first put in the swing at 5 days old. The lowest setting worked just fine for him. The music works quite well too, and it plays for about 30 minutes. The only problem I've had is in one of his temper tantrums he nearly kicked himself out the top of the swing. Talking about a heart attack! Other than that, I would highly recommend this swing.

This swing has come in handy many nights when the little one just doesn't want to calm down. The only problem I've found is that recently my baby will kick her legs while in the swing and she hits her knee on the tray, but I suppose she would do that with any other swing too. The motor is pretty quiet and with the music on, you can't even hear it!

When we first assembled the swing...I was VERY disappointed at the loud noise it made when its on. For a couple of days I griped about that and said I was going to call Evenflo, but my husband and I decided to keep it b/c either way it made Baby Girl happy! I got used to the noise and I like that it plays music. The settings did seem fast (as the other reviews stated) so we just put it on the lower settings. We bought this swing on clearance, b/c we just needed a quick fix for a fussy baby. Now, I do not regret the buy...I think we got a good product for the price.

I read this swings reviews and bought the swing regardless because it was inexpensive and cute and I already had purchased the matching pack and play. Well I should be arrested for being such an idiot. This swing STINKS it is poorly designed and unsafe. The straps are not sturdy and the music plays for 3 seconds then shuts off. The back of the seat is wobbly, and worst of all it swings at 90 mph on the lowest speed. My husband even put 25 pound weights under the bucket seat and it still was flying insanely
fast.I would rate this swing at zero stars if I could. Maybe give it a point five for the pattern. Dont buy this swing..no swing is better than this swing. My son is now two weeks old and I am about to purchase a new swing because I refuse to put my baby in there. The good news is they just came out with a new swing that plugs into the wall with no need for batteries. That sounds good to me and for my daughter I had the previous model of that she absolutly loved. I believe it was fisher price.

This swing isn't exactly the safest one out there- the back of the seat is held up by an adjustable belt that really doesn't seem very sturdy. It occaisionally wobbles (why it only does it some days and not others is beyond me, though), and there isn't very much difference in the speed settings. Also, the tray they've got on there has two big holes in it, where I assume a toy is attached on another model of swing. If you haven't got that useless cow-thing attached, it looks rather ghetto. The way that the tray snaps in place is rather flimsy, as well.
In short, don't waste your money.

We put this item on our baby registry and regret it now that we have been able to use it. Although it was easy to assemble the entire frame wobbles when it is in use (worry about it). The slowest speed is ridiculously fast (especially for newborns and younger/smaller babies) and our baby's head rolls side to side while sleeping as it swings because it goes too fast! Also the music it plays is very energetic which is ok but not helpful for trying to get your baby to sleep.

I bought this swing at target on clearance and was skeptical to use it because of the reviews. I all ready put my 8 day old son in it and he just absolutely loves it. It is a little fast, but most babies love that. It is not out of control fast or anything. It doesn't swing too high. It is perfect and not big and bulky. It went together easily when the directions were followed. I think this is a great swing and you can not beat the price. We just love it. I think some people might just be a little paranoid about the speed and there is no reason to.

my 12 year old son helped me put this together for my 7 wek old daughter (so it's pretty easy to assemble), she got in and loved it. All six speeds are pretty much the same speed but it's because you are supposed to put it on the fastest to get it going then turn the speed down, I think if you have problems with this swing you probably are not reading the instruction manual thoroughly before using- This is a really basic swing that doesn't take up too much space, folds up easily when not in use and my baby likes it too=)

I bought this swing from my local Target store recently. It went together extremely easily and we were using it in no time. I am not sure what the other reviewers complaints are about. I didn't think the swing was flimsy at all. It was very solid and sturdy. I am also not sure about the other reviewer saying it was too fast. Mine had six distinctly different speeds and worked perfect for my one month old and the neighbors big ten month old. We had a few toys from our Evenflo high chair and found that they snapped right into the swing tray. If I had one complaint, it would be that the swing folds up for travel and storage, but doesn't really fold totally flat because of the seat. But, I haven't seen any swing that folds completely flat because of the seat, so I guess it isn't really a big deal. It's not like we plan to take it with us when we travel anyway. As I said, I highly recommend this swing and think you and your baby will love it to.
